add global incognito mode
maybe an option "ignore whitelist" and then only allow to temporarily allow pages if needed - the permanent white listed pages can be temporarily enabled but are by default disabled while this option is enabled

Re: add global incognito mode
I've actually thought before that this might be a good idea, mostly for web development. NoScript is great for testing the no-JavaScript version of a site, and it would be nice to be able to temporarily ignore the whitelist.
But it would probably involve a lot of code changes.

Re: add global incognito mode
any news on this?

Re: add global incognito mode
I think (Giorgio, correct me if I'm wrong) that with the current architecture of NS, that is only possible with Gecko >= 28.
It would be an interesting option to have, but certainly shouldn't be user-facing IMO - a boolean about:config-only pref would probably make the most sense here.

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Of course, it is easy enough to achieve this by using multiple profiles.
