Blocked objects

Post by edgracely@verizon.net »

Why can a blocked object only be temporarily unblocked, even on a specific site? Why do I have to re-unblock it every time I visit a site, often every day?

you don't, unless the blocked object's origin is untrusted and you've set 'block every object coming from a site marked as untrusted'

about:config -> noscript.allowedMimeRegExp
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Thanks. I had the sites in question whitelisted, but didn't realize that I had checked "apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites as well". I unchecked that and it seems to be working better.
