NoScript causing FF crashes?

Post by R4yF1nkl3 »

Hi -

I think NoScript might be causing FireFox to crash. Every time I mark a site as "Mark ____ Untrusted", FireFox crashes. Details below:

*NoScript v2.6.8.31
*FireFox v30
*URL - http://noscript.net/about/(site in question)
*Steps to Re-create:
-->Just click "Mark _____ Untrusted"
*Red Messages (No blue messages displayed) -
-->forums.informaction.com:443 uses an invalid security certificate.

-->The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

-->(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
*****at the bottom right of the red message, it displays this: ssl-observatory.js:579

Any idea why this is causing FireFox to crash?

Thanks!

I couldn't dup?

The site was marked Untrusted as expected.
No crash, nor am I seeing anything in Error Console.

As a test, create a new, clean Profile.
Install NoScript.
Try.

Does it still fail for you?

Have you altered the NoScript site info provider?

So, I was able to narrow down the issue. The EagleGet (download manager) FF plugin is causing the crash. Interesting. Thanks for the replies though.
