2.6.8.30rc1 and later prevents drag&drop install of addons

SeaMonkey 2.27a2 and PaleMoon 24.6.2. STR:
1) install NoScript 2.6.8.30rc1 or later
2) download an xpi with "Save Link Target As..."
3) try to install that xpi by dragging it into the browser window

expected results: warning/confirmation dialog pops up
actual results: nothing. No related error messages in the console.


BTW secure.informaction.com seems down, so some people won't easily be able to downgrade NS

It's working now, thanks for the fast fix.

And I can confirm that secure.informaction.com is no longer dropping connection attempts so not sure what happened there either.
