If I say Allow All...I mean allow all

Post by betanet »

I love this plug-in...however...I don't want it to think it knows better than me.
If I say Allow All this page...I mean Allow friggin all. Having to tell it twice is annoying.

ps..I'm sure this has been addressed, but it was not easily found in a search of the site.

about:config -> set noscript.cascadePermissions to true ? (but be sure to put it back when you're done with that functionality)

the option you're talking about doesn't mean allow all this page -- it means "allow all you see on this *menu*"
see the sticky for more info
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Actually, in many cases it might. Giorgio has worked very hard to develop it, over a number of years.

Now, if you don't actually have the same priorities as him (eg if you're primarily concerned about making pages work), then you may find that you come into conflict with NoScript. But if your first priority is staying safe, then I would suggest that Giorgio usually does know best.
