NoScript Affect Devices Connected to Laptop?
When I installed NoScript, I noticed that my printer no longer worked and my cell phone also began having trouble when connected to my laptop. Does NoScript affect such devices?

Printing through your browser or otherwise?
Printing while FF is open or not?
If FF is not running or if you're not printing through your browser, then there is no way NoScript is affecting anything.

Re: NoScript Affect Devices Connected to Laptop?
Printing and scanning using HP program installed on my hard drive.
I just received a new laptop that doesn't yet have NoScript installed, and I am able to print there. I'm asking about the printer and phone before I install NoScript on the new laptop.
FireFox is usually open on my laptop, but I don't print through it.

Then it's unrelated to NoScript.bigeasybound wrote:Printing and scanning using HP program installed on my hard drive.
NoScript is not a virus scanner; it affects only the behavior of web pages in your browser.
