NoScript claims it prevent exploitation with no loss of functionality. But it blocks basic javascript that I would like to allow on every site, without having to whitelist/allow the whole domain. For example: See the "Search..." up in the top right? If you forbit informaction.com, clicking in the text box won't clear "Search..." so you have to delete it manually. Inserting smilies and the formatting buttons will be disabled. I have no knowledge of javascript so if it is possible to allow 'basic'/harmless javascript without sacrificing security.
Is it really necessary to block these for extra security? If it is, is it possible to add exceptions to my configuration?
Sorry if this has been asked already but I didn't know how to search it. Thanks,

Re: Whitelist javascript scripts, not domains.
It's not technically feasible, sorry.
