As it turns out, before I added all sorts of extensions that fix the looks to the classic theme, the Noscript button was located in the top right corner, and the options in the menu were set in the expected way, top to bottom: domains list, untrusted, recently blocked items, temp allow all, etc.
I moved the button to the status bar, and the options remain vertically stacked in the same order, rather than the reverse. So the bottom option is About, whereas it should be the top option with the Noscript button in the status bar.
This does not happen consistently on all test boxes with Aurora, nor did it happen for some time with this specific instance. So I am wondering if anyone has a clue how to reverse the orders to reflect the button position properly?
Snoochie, I'm curious about what extensions you're using to "fix the looks", as you put it. Could you give me a few pointers?

Just for the record 2.6.8.18 RC2 didn't fix the problem.
However, I've read that some problems of such nature may be caused by FF itself, as the Australis interface totally scrambles configuration. It is recommended to create a new profile then - and, yes... reinstall and configure all the extensions you use...

A new profile does not make a difference, I'm afraid.
It is also a shame to ruin an existing profile.

Noticed this in 2.6.8.19 RC2 still. A fix would be much appreciated!

I just created a new profile for nightly today, and I ran into this problem. I didn't know why until I stumbled into this thread. Please fix it asap! Thanks.

Re: Noscript menu vertical order of options mixed up
Any solution for this except for migrating to another browser? Giorgio had a look into this before, but didn't reply again unfortunitely. What were his conclusions on this? There seem to be many people confronted with this problem and a solution or explanation would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Problem persists into Firefox 30b1, both Windows and Linux, both with clean (new) profiles and old profiles.
A little attention, please.

Re: Noscript menu vertical order of options mixed up
Please check latest development build 2.6.8.21rc1.
Notice that, as far as I can see, this is a problem with the way these add-ons emulate the status/addons bar, not with NoScript.
This version should work-around, though.

Re: Noscript menu vertical order of options mixed up
Giorgio, the latest dev build makes it work again
I realize that the cause for the problem is not NoScript itself. Because of that, I'm even more grateful for your help and you always being there for people right away never ceases to amaze me. Thank you so much
Best
@Maniaxx: The dev build is only available for a few minutes now. For me it worked. I suggest you try it again a little bit later.

Re: [Resolved] Noscript menu vertical order of options mixed
Another small issue seems to have arisen though with 2.6.8.21rc1
If there are reasons not allow certain Scripts to run on a tab,
I'm now left with the Scripts Partially Allowed |<SCRIPT>:49|<OBJECT>:0
banner at the end of my Status Bar (using FF29 with Classic Theme Restore added)
The yellow banner can be turned on and off etc in NS Options,
but it remains permanent in the Status Bar
Even if I move the NS Button to the Top (where Australis wants it to be)
I still have the warnings shown on the Bottom Status Bar
This wasn't happening with build 2.6.8.20 though
