Malware and NoScript on a Web site?

Post by PsychBiller »

I run NoScript with the recommended setting of prohibiting all scripts globally with specific exceptions.

I've come across a Web site that is behaving very, very strangely. It's a Girl Scout Web site: www.pixielist.com. If I allow this site within NoScript, it looks normal. But when I don't, which is the usual setting, the left side navigation is replaced with all sorts of spammy stuff about male enhancement products, shady investments, etc. How could this happen?

My system is scanned daily for viruses and malware.

Never mind! Found out that the site in question has been the victim of a Wordpress security hack.
