recurring block on some sites

Post by Willemien »

Sometimes I get the following deny message.
This happens to every now and then, then disappears and that all for the same site/ webpage

Request {get http://192.168.1.1/http/index.html<<<<http://[[website/page I visit regulary]] -6 } filtered by ABE: <LOCAL> Deny

192.168.1.1 is the IP of my router.

sometimes i get it, sometimes it disappears and i can visit the website again

Any Idea what is happening here?

(was wondering is that website i visit temporarly infected or so, and should i be happy it happens? , but then it doesn't happen so often)

It is possible that the site is trying to hack your router.
Or more simply, your router may have some "feature" by which regular web loads are redirected to it if a problem happens.
Cannot tell for sure unless you show us the non-redacted version of one of these messages.
