When I allow sites that were being blocked by noscript they do not appear in the whitelist in the options menu. The sites are unblocked, they just do not appear in the whitelist.
I have noscript v2.6.8.12 installed on IceDragon v26.0.0.2 browser and my OS is Windows XP SP3

Have you allowed them by base domain, full domain, or full address?

Is this a new situation?
As a test, create a new, clean Profile, install only NoScript, & see if that works properly.

do you have the options for both "allow" and "temporarily allow" enabled?
if you only have the option for "temporarily allow" enabled, that might be why the domains are not being added to noscript's whitelist..
