I've been using No-script for quite a while now. I love, it but I'm starting to get somewhat annoyed. Let me explain.
Let's say I go to website, like www.weather.com. Upon arriving, Noscript blocks scripts from ~15 other sites. www.weather.com is almost totally broken unless I allow or temp-allow various other sites that aren't www.weather.com. I have no freaking clue what these other sites are.
In my own opinion, I would say www.weather.com is a reputable site, to the point it would not harm my computer. But I don't know if that reputation extends to the other sites that weather.com uses on its webpage.
In order to get around this, I could start selecting allow-all on a site I feel has a solid reputation.
Q1. How safe is selecting allow all on a "reputable" site?
Q2. As a no-script user, how are you handling this?
Thanks.

As you say, it depends not only on the trustworthiness of the main site, but also the trustworthiness of the third-party sites.
I start by marking obvious ad/tracking sites as Untrusted. Then I use temporary permissions to find the minimum needed to make the site work. I'll ignore sites like Facebook and Twitter, because they're almost never needed. Once I've made the site work, I'll use 'Make Page Permissions Permanent' (or manually revoke the temporary permissions and grant permanent ones).Q2. As a no-script user, how are you handling this?
Others may have different approaches, depending on their different levels of patience and paranoia.

Thanks for your advice. I was not aware of the make page permissions permanent, but that seems like a great idea.
I don't see that option when I click the (S) circle or the Options button at the bottom of the screen in firefox. Where do I find that option?

Never mind I found it, I see you have to have a temp-allowed before it shows up!

Re: No-script allow all on reputable site (firefox)
i went to the "weather.com" website and i had problems with it, too, but it wasn't "noscript" that was causing the problem, it was "adblock plus", with the rules that i have for it, that was causing the problem..
the only way that i could get the "weather.com" webpage to display properly was to set "adblock plus" to "disable on this page only", where the webpage that "adblock plus" was disabled on was "weather.com"..
i don't know what was being blocked by "adblock plus", that was causing the problem with the "weather.com" webpage, but, whatever it was, based on what i saw that was being blocked, i didn't want to unblock it, just to get that one webpage to function properly.. i tried adding "weather.com" to adblock plus's "whitelist", but that didn't help..
i don't use the "weather.com" website.. i use the "accuweather.com" website..
