NoScript sometimes doesn't remember given permissions

Post by pkolasa »

Hello everybody,

I have been using this wonderful addon for a long time, yet I am forced to ask for some help.
Since few weeks, my NoScript started behaving in a very strange way, whenever it feels like it. I have allowed scripts on a few frequently used sites, such as facebook.com or google.com.
However, when I visit those sites, sometimes NoScript still blocks scripts on them. I have noticed, that the context menu of NoScript icon shows the website address in a strange way, as I'll try to show on the pictures, using the example of translate.google.pl:
- this is the normal way NoScript sees those addresses: Image
- this is how it sees them from time to time: Image

This happens on various sites, I've seen that happening on facebook.com and so on. Sometimes on the second picture, the blocked address is showed in this manner:

Code: Select all

What can I do to repair NoScript's behaviour?

I am using Firefox Aurora 28.0 on Windows 8.1 x64.

If you create a new profile, install only NoScript, and import your NS settings from your current profile (use import/export buttons on the very bottom of NS Options), can you still reproduce this?
If so, probably you're getting redirected through a site you marked as Untrusted and running into this issue. Does reloading the page fix the permissions?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
