[RESOLVED] ABE is blocking local IP's
Re: [RESOLVED] ABE is blocking local IP's
with the latest version (2.6.6.2) access to local devices works now with ABE on. But after accessing a local device I CAN NOT ACCESS GOOGLE.DE or something anymore. THIS IS BLOCKED NOW...man, this playing around thing sucks!

Could you please open Firefox Error Console (Ctrl+Shift+J), click the blue "Messages", and post here any messages relating to NoScript?

Could you double check whether MyDynDNS points actually to one IP or maybe it points both to an internal and an external one?JJDeluxe wrote: MyDynDNS points to a server that lies in the same network my PC is connected to.

Re: [RESOLVED] ABE is blocking local IP's
Thanks for the hint.
I works generally. But as soon as I access the server through the internal IP 192.168.1.xxx I get the errors, when I move back to the MyDynDNS-URL

Could ypu please be more specific? What do you mean by "I move back", exactly?JJDeluxe wrote:t as soon as I access the server through the internal IP 192.168.1.xxx I get the errors, when I move back to the MyDynDNS-URL

I can access some services through http://MyDynDNS/folder/ or through the internal IP 192.168.1.xxx/folder. When I switch between MyDynDNS and 192.168.1.xxx I get the error!Giorgio Maone wrote:Could ypu please be more specific? Today I observed another behaviour. When I restart firefox every works. But after some time, I get this message again.
I will try it with a fresh firefox profile a take a look what happens there.

Re: [RESOLVED] ABE is blocking local IP's
Again, if MyDynDNS points to an external IP, or both to an internal and an external one, this is the normal behavior of the LOCAL rule in the SYSTEM ruleset shipping by default in ABE.JJDeluxe wrote:I can access some services through http://MyDynDNS/folder/ or through the internal IP 192.168.1.xxx/folder. If you know what you're doing, you can work-around by putting the following lines in the beginning of the NoScript Options|Advanced|ABE SYSTEM ruleset:
Code: Select all
Site 192.168.1 MyDynDNS
Accept from 192.168.1 MyDynDNS
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0
Re: [RESOLVED] ABE is blocking local IP's
Thanks! That works.Giorgio Maone wrote: If you know what you're doing, you can work-around by putting the following lines in the beginning of the NoScript Options|Advanced|ABE SYSTEM ruleset:Code: Select all

MyDynDNS points only to the IP address I get from my ISP. My internal IP address has nothing to do with it. But I will check the server config to be sure

Editing server configuration using GEdit? :s
If you want a better editor, I personally recommend Geany.
