no you tube videos
I can not find a way to view You Tube videos. They will not load or they freeze up as soon as they start. This is not a buffering or speed issue. I have virtually no issues streaming anywhere else on the web. Hulu, Netflix, online channels, and web sites with video -all work fine. You Tube is the only place that I can't watch a video. Temporarily allowing everything on a page or listing You Tube in the white list does not help. I also have Ad block disabled for You Tube. I am using the latest firefox ,adobe flash, no scripts, and ad block +. Does anyone know what I'm missing here.

Re: no you tube videos
If you disable NoScript, do the videos play?

Re: no you tube videos
Doesn't sound like this has anything to do with NoScript.
Try a new profile, with only NoScript installed (with your current settings, use export and import buttons at the very bottom of NS Options panel) and it might work...
If it does, go back to your original profile and try Standard Diagnostic.

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Re: no you tube videos
What profile ? I'm sorry. but I have no idea what you are talking about. My tested IQ is only 150. I should have known that No Scripts is a program for code writers and techies. I chose to use it because it claimed to make browsing safer and more protected from attack. As is the case more often than not these types of software complicate matters far worse than any good they claim to achieve.
According to what I've seen. the latest version of Adobe Flash is not compatible with Fire Fox's latest update. Not surprising, I always get major problems after any Adobe update. You would think developers would design open source ware to work with other open source products. Maybe they are like security software creators - they offer you products to protect you from the very threats that they themselves create.
I have the latest update from Fire Fox , Adobe Flash, and No Scripts. I have Ad Block + turned off for You Tube and You Tube on my white list. Clicking on "allow all this page " or "temporarily allow all this page" does nothing. All I can tell you is I had no problem before I added No Scripts and Ad Block +. I could and still can stream anywhere else on the net. It's just You Tube that doesn't work.
I thought about Flash Got but it's designed by the same guy who dreamed up No Scripts. I see people who claim to run Fire Fox, No Scripts, Ad Block + . and Flash Got together. Obviously they are code writers or programmers with access to the author of this software. Since there is no real support for any of these items including You Tube and Adobe , I guess if I want to watch You Tube videos , I'll have to do it on some other person's computer or device.

What about disabling Adblock Plus?
