Remove "external filters"

Post by access2godzilla »

I think that NS should drop its "External filters" feature. It is hardly used; and Blitzableiter seems to be have been completely exterminated with the site only greeting visitors with a "Hallo!!" (although it actually never worked in the first place); and no other suitable software exists that can scan for Flash exploits.

Are there any other plugin types for which this feature could still be useful?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Of course you can integrate your AV (if it has command line options), I've done it in the past. But its of no practical use.
