hi,
today YouTube updated the comment on videos function (everyone is forced into G+ ..)
I connected my Youtube account to google plus and still cant post comments.
I put the cursor into the textbox but it ignores what i type. it works when i deactivate noscipt plugin or in google chrome (no plugins installed)
so i tried if its possible to comment again when i allow all webpages but it didnt.

Same here. However, i'm able to type in reply to another comment. When i open a new comment box nothing works, except i can paste stuff from the clipboard, but exclusively with the combo Menu key + P, but not with ctrl+v.

They're just compromising the usability of their services just to push that g+ crap down our throats. I thought FB was a nuisance, but at least they don't screw up with ma mail or youtube.

True that, and that's why they deserve all the ire they shall get for this.

Turn off ClearClick for the fiables pages at the end of the 3 tab.
Options > Embeddings > (at the bottom) ClearClick.. *untick trusted*

Can someone please explain to ME how to get this working (commenting/replying on YouTube) as I can't work out how to do it and it's been bugging me for WEEKS now.
I have updated NoScript from 2.6.6.8 to 2.6.8.5 because I could see from the release notes this issue was fixed. I restarted Firefox (latest version) yet to no avail. I STILL get that big empty white popup from Google+ which then closes again ignoring you. Yes I have my accounts connected and checked all the settings. Nothing else seems to be wrong. Do I have to make a change in the options or something in order to get this working or was it supposed to happen automatically once updated?
Thank you kindly for ANY help/guidance in this. I'm reaching the end of my tether now. Working perfectly in Firefox safe mode, IE and Chrome.
Thanks Nick

This seems a completely different issue than the original poster's.
Does it work on a clean profile with just NoScript installed and after "Allow all" on the Youtube page?
Thanks for trying to help. Fortunately I got a lot of assistance/help in a similar but different thread and am happy to say I got it sorted out in the end. It was all about removing the trusted tick from the whiteboard apparantly but surprising this knowledge/info isn't more widespread but I'll put the word about if I see any probs on there.
Cheers, Nick

I'm still having trouble with YouTube. When I try to comment, some Google window tries to open briefly, then it closes without fully loading. It might be because I haven't been able to login to Google plus. Also, I cannot get the little thumbs up or down to work at all on the comments. About the only thing the "fix" did for me was each time I refresh the YouTube page, the "guide" on the left side automatically opens which I have to manually close. I haven't been able to comment on YT since the recent change, I have to open IE to do that.
