strange icon appearing on toolbar when scripts stop running
I'm not sure this is a NoScript issue, but I've checked my computer and there is no virus infection that might explain what's happening with my PC lately. I use Firefox on a PC, and my version of NoScript is 2.6.8.3rc3.
Several times over the last few days, Firefox has stalled briefly and pops up a window that tells me a script on the page has stopped running and would I like to wait or cancel. When I cancel, I'm transferred to my email program. When I go back to the browser (it doesn't close, I'm just flipped out of it), a strange icon has appeared on my toolbar. Looks sort of like a malevolent black and white Lego, and although it has an x in the upper right corner, clicking it does nothing. If I close the browser and then reopen it, the Lego is gone. I don't know how to attach an image from my computer here, but if someone will tell me how, I'd be happy to post a screen capture.
Since it's a script issue, I thought perhaps this would be something someone in the NoScript forum could shed some light on this. Thanks!

You can post an image inside [img] tags.
Are there any particular URLs where this occurs?

Very likely to be a malware infection (and very, very unlikely to be related to NS). On which site does this occur? What other addons do you use?
Please post screenshots. (Use the "Print Screen" button to take a screenshot, and then paste in a graphics editor, such as Paint and save them. Upload them to a file sharing site, and post the links here.)

Would help to know what the actual Script Warning said.
(Should also be able to get it from Error Console.)
Your icon issue could be something different.

If I've done this right, here's an image of the malevolent Lego icon:
http://wikisend.com/download/275526/bar icon.jpg
I have no idea how to access the error console, but I think the message I get is like the one shown here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unresponsive_Script_Warning I don't recall if it gave any other information.
So far, this has only appeared on Facebook. It only occurs after one of those "stopped script" warnings. I have had some assistance from the Malwarebytes forum, so I am confident it isn't a virus or other malware causing this. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, and as I said, all I have to do to make it go away is close the browser and reopen it.
Add-ons include Adobe Acrobat, Java Deployment Toolkit, various McAfee stuff, Microsoft Office 2010, Quicktime plugin, Realdownloader plugin, various RealNetworks stuff, RealPlayer, Shockwave Flash, Silverlight plugin, and Windows Live PhotoGallery.

Can't say I've seen that before.
Look through your extensions & see if something (other then NoScript) stands out.

Ctrl+Shift+J (or did FF change that too?)

I would be happy to look through my extensions if you can tell me how to do that on Firefox - thanks!

That 'lego' looks rather like a truncated version of the Click to Play placeholder.
