Synching through Firefox Sync is supported but disabled per default because of people overriding their old settings with blank ones. Set noscript.sync.enabled to true to enable it.

How can you prevent your current settings from being overwritten?
Why can't NoScript just merge them?

I guess NoScript would have rewrite Firefox' synching or settings writing code for this.

From how I understand it, NoScript bascially just tells Firefox which of its settings (just about:config entries now that the ABE files are gone) should be synced and that's it. Firefox is doing all the work.

Syncing of Noscript preferences seems unsupported in the latest version. The bookmark trick also seems to have been removed. Anyone know the status of this capability?

As dhouwn indicated, NoScript doesn't do anything special any more, it just uses the standard Firefox Sync mechanism.

That said, syncing NoScript preferences is generally not recommended, because they don't usually merge well.
