flashgot with buit-in browser and authentification needed

Hi, I am using flashgot 1.5.5.5 with the built-in browser and it is installed on thunderbird 13.0.1.
The data I want to download requires a login and password but when I use flashgot, the window that usually appears to type the login and password doesn't appear
and it seems the files have been downloaded, but strangely very rapidely.
And when I check the downloaded files, the size of each file is 1ko instead of its real size.
Is there a parameter in thunderbird to modify (I have checked the "HTTP authentification" in flashgot options but it doesn't change the result)?
Or I just can't use flashgot with thunderbird this way? (It works properly whan I don't need a login and password to download the file).
I hope you will understand the problem, I am sorry I am not a native speaker of english.

Someone can correct me on this, but I don't think FlashGot works well with downloads that need authentication. Manual downloading may be the way to go.
