... and I was right.
I removed the requirement (1024x800 max image resolution).
After all we've got good spam filters and excellent moderators now :)

Fix verified with both my post and therube's original POC. Let's see: 11 seconds per edit times 1000 edits per post means you've saved therube about three hours of time for each post. Now he can really pump his post count!

Heh :lol:.

This issue still persists:
Over the past couple of days, a new phenom: The page will appear to have loaded fully, but the progress bar never gets to completion (or I get tired of waiting for it).

I had noticed that if you include a clickable thumbnail hotlink, there's no delay. If you embed a huge image, yes, but that wasn't surprising, I figured this site had to retrieve the entire image and load and parse it, as you said.

(I know, it was a Boolean AND. The former non-exclusive OR was not quite sufficient.)
