Does anyone else recognize the following symptom?
I can login to LinkedIn and I can do everything *except* access my user account settings. When I click on the link to go to my account settings, I'm confronted with the normal LinkedIn login prompt, again. But, this time, I cannot bypass it by entering my credentials; I just get a blank login prompt, again. This only happens with NoScript enabled, but no new blocked scripts appear in the recently blocked list.
This same thing happens on other sites too, such as newegg.com and others I can't remember right now, and has been a problem for a long time. I just haven't needed to adjust may settings before and now I do.

Which sites are on your NoScript menu? What about the Blocked Objects and Untrusted submenus?
Anything in Error Console (Ctrl+Shift+J) under Errors or Messages (not Warnings)?

Re: Cannot Access LinkedIn Account Settings (and other sites
Hmm, I suppose I should have waited to post this as I don't have access to this particular system at the moment. Let me try to recall some of the details, however.
Normally, I think googlecomerse.com and doubleclick.net are listed as blocked. But, I have tried temporarily allowing everything in the list (and reloading) a few times over the course of trying to solve this problem myself, and it persists even when no blocked sites are shown in the NoScript menu.
So, I'm not sure what are "Blocked Objects". Do you mean "Recently Blocked Sites?" Because that list is completely empty. That's the part that confuses me. I assume that if it was something NoScript was blocking, it would show up in that list. But, it could be something else besides completely blocking a script that is causing the problem.
I'll have to check on my untrusted list but it's quite short. Again, I'm certain I've tried trusting everything on that page including un-untrusting any sites that are listed.
Ah, now I haven't checked the Error Console. I completely forgot about that. I'll check it out and reply again with it and the other details you asked about.

Re: Cannot Access LinkedIn Account Settings (and other sites
So, I'm finally able to work on this again. I tried starting a new FF profile to see what would happen. I didn't have any trouble logging into the LinkedIn site with a clean profile. So, I added NoScript add-on and tried again; no problem. I added CookieMonster; no problem. I added all my add-ons back, but the problem didn't recur.
While this didn't help me figure out what was the problem, I did produce a workable solution. I have no idea what was actually wrong with the old profile. I've had it for many many years, though, and it's not inconceivable that the problem was there.
Anybody seen anything like that, before?

Profile corruption is quite common, actually. Sometimes the symptoms can be quite bizarre. Creating a new one is a standard diagnostic procedure.
