Liking a post on a Wordpress blog

Post by jdgalt »

I am a frequent commenter on blogs, and many of them are on Wordpress. It seems a near-universal problem that if I try to "Like" a post on one of these blogs, I get told that the "Like" button has been overlaid in a "clickjacking" attempt, and therefore the ClearClick feature of NoScript has locked (disabled) the "Like" button.

I suspect that this "overlaying" is in fact an intended feature of blogs that use WordPress, and NoScript ought to provide a way to whitelist them.

Furthermore, even if a button on a page has been overlaid with another one by a "clickjacker", it seems to me that if NoScript is capable of detecting the problem then it ought to be capable of working around it, by telling me what each link does and allowing me to activate just the one I want through NoScript's own menu.

URLs where this occurs?
When you get the ClearClick warning, have you reported it (from within the dialog)?
