Sometimes I have to download pictures from client galleries that are numbered 01.jpg, 02.jpg, ... for many different galleries... It's nice that my download manager renames them 01(1).jpg, etc., however, if there are different numbers of files, then it can get tricky after all the downloading to figure out what belongs where...
So...
It would be AWESOME to be able to prepend / or append something to file names...
So when Flashgot pops up, it would be sweet to have above the list of files to download: Prepend: and Append: textboxes that it would automatically change the target file names!
That would be SOOOO useful I think!
Thanks,
Jake

Re: Feature Request: prepend file names
Not a bad idea.
Some Download Managers allow you to download "preserving directory structure".
So something like:
http://www.amazon.com/music/george/1.mp3
http://www.amazon.com/music/sally/1.mp3
Would be saved as:

Re: Feature Request: prepend file names
FWIW, I'd rather if FlashGot could tunnel that in...
I know the devloper updates this frequently, so here's hoping =)

P.S. I don't know how development goes, but if the developer would like some help coding, feel free to hit me up; I'd KILL for this feature (Well, I wouldn't KILL, but I'd certainly code it myself =P)
