Script just stopped working with latest update (worked fine till now) -- no icons at bottom of browser, no menus anywhere -- but when I check the add-on extension -- its there, active.
I did downgrade Firefox to v14 from 20 - thinking that might have had something to do with using v20.
On a Mac, Firefox v14, OS 10.6.8

Re: Script Not/Stopped Working
I assume that you mean NoScript stopped working? If so, then:
Please create a clean profile from scratch. Install only NoScript, leaving all the defaults.
Does the problem still exist? If not, NoScript is not the culprit.
Try adding back your extensions, one at a time, until you find the one that causes the issue.
Then remove all the others, pairing only the suspected one with NoScript, to confirm that the remaining one is the issue.
If the problem is solved even with all add-ons reinstalled, then the previous profile was probably corrupt. Problem solved.
Let us know, thanks.
Or did you mean that a particular piece of JavaScript stopped working? If so, then please provide a URL where it occurs.
