The most recent 1.5.5 update of Flashgot appears to have a conflict with Video DownloadHelper:
After updating flashgot, Firefox 19.0.2 on Windows 8 was completely unresponsive and took up more and more memory until it eventually crashed.
I have lots of youtube tabs but they are not loaded at startup (via the built-in Firefox option).
I tested disabling various extensions through safe mode and found that if both video downloadhelper and flashgot extensions were enabled at the same time, firefox freezes up and crashes. If only one of them is enabled there doesn't appear to be a problem. So it seems that the new youtube detection is causing a conflict.
