A simple question
Does the Media Button Work with SeaMonkey and if so where is it and how to enable it?
I have The Show Toolbar check enabled but I can't seam to Find/See the button.
In FF it the button is on the add-on bar, but it was movable so I usually put it on the navigation bar, can I move it in SeaMonkey and how?
Using SeaMonkey 2.16.2

Re: SeaMonkey and FlashGot Media button
The button should appear dynamically whenver a movie is playing in the content window.

You're right I'm sorryThe button should appear dynamically whenver a movie is playing in the content window.

But it's not movable in SeaMonkey right? Just tried to move it in the address bar and I couldn't.

I'm not sure. Are other toolbar buttons moveable? In other words, have you got a "Customize" contextual menu item on the toolbar? If you've got it, it should be draggable. An embaraced SeaMonkey User wrote: But it's not movable in SeaMonkey right? Just tried to move it in the address bar and I couldn't.

Re: SeaMonkey and FlashGot Media button
Yes the new SeaMonkey does allow to move/Customize buttons just like Firefox but the Media Button is on the lower info pane (like the add-on bar in FF) and when I select customize while I can grab and move buttons on the Navigation and Bookmark toolbars I can't move anything on the bottom information bar. It's not that a big deal I just liked the Media button on the top right corner I can learn to live with the bottom, btw I recently recreated my profile as I had some problems with SeaMonkey, a third party add-on might have hid the Media Button, at the moment I only have FlashGot installed no other add-ons and all is working fine. Are other toolbar buttons moveable? Re: SeaMonkey and FlashGot Media button
Found the reason the button disappearedYou're right I'm sorryI could have sworn the button wasn't there
it was a problem with this extension
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamon ... d-youtube/
I don't know why as I use both extensions in Firefox, and the extension doesn't change anything in the status bar.
Maybe you can add this info in the FAQ
Download YouTube Videos as MP4 1.5.7.2 is known to hide the Media Button in SeaMonkey.
Here's 2 screen shots
#1 with the Download YouTube Videos as MP4 disabled the Media Button works

#2 with the Download YouTube Videos as MP4 enabled the Media Button does not work

This is a SeaMonkey only problem as I use both addons on Firefox without any problems.

Suppose this is the link in question (needs to be in URL tags): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/download-youtube/
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball NoScript FlashGot AdblockPlus

Yes it got truncated and I didn't want to write another post just for a 3rd party link.Suppose this is the link in question (needs to be in URL tags): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... d-youtube/
This is solved
The add-on Download YouTube Videos as MP4 hides the Media button in SeaMonkey
