FlashGot & Palemoon x64

Post by damjang »

Hi! I have Palemoon x64 and last FlashGot, but FlashGot don't see any external download manager. I look in the log file and see that there is, for every download manager that flashgot look, an "COM error: Wrong function." Is this because of x64 browser? Or something else?

I would think so, that a 64-bit version of FlashGot.exe would be required?

(64-bit really sucks, so far)

Why? I'm happy with my x64 browser. This is the first "problem" I have with it.

Is there any news on a compile of FlashGot for x64 browsers?

Thank you!

FlashGot.exe is a 32 bit executable, which runs in a separate process than the browser.
Therefore it shouldn't make any difference.
What download manager are you using?
Are they configured to work correctly from MSIE menus? (they need to for FlashGot to work, because FlashGot "parasitizes" the MSIE interfaces).
