spurious blocked object

Post by al_9x »

Fx 17.0.1, NS 2.6.4.1, new profile, block flash on trusted, allow hbo.com

http://www.hbo.com/

The legit one, represented by the palceholder is "shockwave-flash@http://www.hbo.com/bin/SiteMain.swf"
but there's also "shockwave-flash@http://www.hbo.com/"

So what you're saying is that first you get the placeholder:

> shockwave-flash@http://www.hbo.com/bin/SiteMain.swf

& after that is allowed, the page loads, yet you still have (in Blocked Objects):

> shockwave-flash@http://www.hbo.com/

No, the spurious placeholder appears for me even without allowing the real one.

For me it's just listed in the blocked objects menu, the only placeholder I see points towards http://www.hbo.com/bin/SiteMain.swf#!fl ... v=/config/ (in the menu listed without the part including and after the first #).

Yes, I meant blocked object in menu, not placeholder, sorry. But like al, I can see it.

Right, that's where I saw it.

With 2.6.4.2.rc3, after clicking the placeholder, shockwave-flash@http://www.hbo.com/ no longer appears in Blocked Objects.
