Per this thread, it is already a known issue that ABE notifications may extend off the screen and/or hide other page elements, including not showing the button to make the ABE notification itself go away.
Pending correction of this issue, user F-3000 observed that it would be desirable to allow ABE notifications to be configured exactly as blocked script notifications are, to wit:
NS Options > Notifications: Under "ABE", place a checkbox, "Hide after X seconds", with the same type of window for the user to set the desired time as for blocked scripts.
I support this RFE.

Both ABE and XSS notification are gonna be moved to doorhangers (which won't suffer of the mentioned limits) very soon.
As a preview, you can check what already happens in NSA++ by installing it on a recent Nightly build, either on Android or on the desktop.
