FYI: NoScript and latest Java update (10-25-2012)

Here's a little FYI... Java updated on 10/23, and with the update I noticed that I was not able to reach some sites (Facebook apps). I was thinking this was just Java being fussy. And with the Java update this morning, same problem. That and the news items in my Yahoo home page were not changing on mouse-over.

It seems that I needed to reset my NoScript settings and whitelist -- this fixed the problem.

Steps for Firefox:

Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions tab > NoScript > click on Options button
In Pop-up window, click 'Reset' button
Select Whitelist tab, select all links in whitelist and click 'Remove Selected Sites' button

This will clear all approved sites. Now when you connect to sites you will need to re-'Allow' the sites for NoScript. (right-click, 'Allow <site>'.)
