A sidebar for NS flash alerts

Post by nagan »

When the junk goes beyond the screen it is just impossible to reach the options , to clear a flash object. I had to ultimately clear the http permission. The screen resolution 800 x 600 could be the reason but still can a side bar be given??

Normally, the "OK" box is highlighted, so just hitting "Enter" should work.

Wow, that is one long URI.

And even if it wasn't, the universal ESC key would handle its dismissal. This is the challenge of very low resolution screens. Today anything less than 1024x and you are going to run into sizing issues. Sometimes you can make a screen smart size but normally alerts are system generated and therefore inherit the block size of the system making them obscenely out of user control sometimes, case in point.

I wonder if NS alerts would be impervious still at higher resolution.Add more junk and the box's gotta go bigger and out of bounds?

That doesn't make much sense but to each their own. However, yes, the higher the resolution the more fitted the pop ups as they are system generated and therefore will scale to it.
