Is there a list of all the filehosters that are supported by Flashgot? I read that uploaded.net was supported and I tried using Flashgot and Free Download Manager but it doesn't work. It downloads a small file instead, less than 1 Kb. I used the download dialog box (flashgot> free download manager). I've also tried pressing Alt before clicking the download link and I get a message saying something like the download limit has been reached. Then I refresh the page and the Free Download Manager's download window pops up. If I click download it just downloads a small file as well.
Rapidgator also doesn't work. I'm sure there are many others. Am I doing something wrong?

FlashGot Options|General Tab|Download Manager Pull Down Menu|They are all listed there and what's bolded is a signal that it has detected it on your system.
If its not working as you expect, then something is wrong with the downloader installation on your system or configuration issue. You might try and reinstall them and/or remove and reinstall them. Also make sure they work on their own as they should and THEN we'll see if it has something to do with FG.
No one else is having issues, so is has to be a config issue on your end. Have you tried a clean profile, with just FG and then try with the downloaders of your choice and see if maybe another addon is somehow interfering.
Otherwise, I don't know what else to tell you. Also keep in mind, that file "hosters" will behave differently whether they are free downloads or premium accounts. So if premium accounts, you need to be logged in, and if not then it could very well be a direct download/hotlink grab of links on the free service mechanism.

Those sites do not work using Free Download Manager and the FDM plugin it installs. That's why I tried Flashgot because I was hoping FG would help. FG does help for some filehosters that FDM won't work on. I will try a new profile and let you know.

FlashGot supports almost all the filehosters, but only if you're already logged in them with a premium account.
For extensive filehoster support, even without an account, you can use FlashGot in conjuction with the JDownloader download manager.

I tried with a new profile and Flashgot and Free Download Manager and uploaded.net and rapidgator.net still do not work. I don't use premium accounts I only use free accounts. Uploaded.net also doesn't work on jdownloader. Maybe certain filehoster sites don't work for these programs?
Can someone test uploaded.net or rapidgator.net with flashgot and FDM and confirm this?

As said in my previous post, FG doesn't support free filehoster downloads (which usually involve delays, captchas and so on).Guest wrote:I tried with a new profile and Flashgot and Free Download Manager and uploaded.net and rapidgator.net still do not work. JDownloader may help with those.

Is Uploaded.net the same as uploaded.to?

Do you mean FG does not officially support free filehoster downloads? Because it still works on many free filehosters.I tried with a new profile and Flashgot and Free Download Manager and uploaded.net and rapidgator.net still do not work. I don't use premium accounts I only use free accounts.
Yes uploaded.to has changed to uploaded.netIs Uploaded.net the same as uploaded.to?

Yes, I mean that it won't work if the filehoster actively tries to prevent you from using direct download (e.g. through counters or captchas), while JDownloader has several plugins to work around these obstacles (and works fine with FlashGot).Dudez wrote:Do you mean FG does not officially support free filehoster downloads?
