icon gone - Resolved

Post by seedsgrow »

I've read the faq and forum entries on this topic, but I've found no solution to my problem. I have FF15.0.1 running in Kubuntu 12.04, and the NoScript icons are missing entirely. They are not only missing from the toolbars, but when I open the customize toolbar window, the NoScript icons are not there, either. I have tried removing and reinstalling NoScript and tried finding some setting in the preferences without success. As an irony, I had to either turn off NoScript or use Chromium to register for this forum site since the confirmation code apparently is generated by JavaScript.

I resolved the issue by removing the firefox configuration file, reinstalling FF, restoring the old configuration file, and reinstalling NoScript and all my other extensions. An inelegant but effective solution.
