file menu highlighted on placeholder activation

Post by al_9x »

Fx 15.0b2, NS 2.5rc6, new profile, forbid flash on trusted

1. click on any youtube placeholder and don't move the mouse after the click
2. (with or without the confirmation box) the file menu is highlighted as if you pressed alt, it stays highlighted until the mouse is moved

not present in Fx 14, so may be a Fx bug

If clicking the NoScript placeholder causes it to occur, & if it were a FF bug, should there be some other method to produce it, without NoScript?

Or because it did not happen in FF 14 but does in FF 15 (& later), even though NoScript is involved, does that make it a FF bug?

(Note if you use the confirmation box, once the box appears, the bug happens, so you needn't necessarily OK the confirmation. A Cancel, followed by mouse movement, followed by a click, will allow you to repeat the bug without actually playing the clip. plugin-container.exe has not yet & need not necessarily load.)
