allowing Java Applet does not work on talon.cz

Post by dhouwn »

NoScript 2.5.1rc1, plugins blocked on whitelisted site too.
On http://www.talon.cz/ after clicking on click on "Vstoupit" and then one of the
"Pripoj se" buttons to join a game the Java applet won't run after you click the place holder. I suspect it's because of some dumb behavior of the site that would need a specific workaround but since I found the following interesting message in the error console ("insecure" behavior doesn't sound good) I guess I would report it anyways:

Code: Select all

Error: Exposing chrome JS objects to content without __exposedProps__ is insecure and deprecated. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en/XPConnect_wrappers for more information.

It works for me, both on 14 and on 16.
Could you try on a clean profile?
Thanks.

Indeed, can't reproduce on a fresh profile. Maybe I will dig more into this later.

I guess I would have normally tested it further (and on a fresh profile) had I not come on this site because someone reported this site as not working with Firefox's click-to-play, so when it didn't for me either on my normal profile (I don't have plugins.click_to_play set) I assumed it was a general problem with any click-to-play technique without looking further into it.
