Hello,
Please let me begin by saying that I have searched the forum already, and having not found a resolution, assume that my search terms are not too effective. If, after reading my post, you know of the answer already existing, please point me to it.
What is observed is that after an upgrade to NoScript, sites I had previously allowed have to be allowed again and sites previously marked as untrusted must be so marked again. After each NS upgrade.
Is this normal? Might I have NS misconfigured? Is there a workaround, or should one just "live with" this behavior?
This is on a Windows XP pro box running Firefox 14.
Thank you for your feedback, it will be greatly appreciated.

This is not normal behavior. Could your profile be corrupted? Try making a new one, installing an old version of NoScript on it, allowing some sites, then upgrading it, to see whether the problem reoccurs.
You can get old NoScript versions via Firefox Add-ons.
