In the 2.4.8 changelog, there is a note:
Changed default UI shortcut to ctrl+shift+N because ctrl+shift+S is
taken by the debugger
That's really annoying. Control-Shift-N is used to re-open the last closed Window with all tabs complete. I used it all the time.
Luckily it can be changed through the about:config. But hijacking core firefox accelerator keys was not good.

Re: Control-Shift-N Hijacked
So it does.
Poor selection I suppose.
SeaMonkey uses Ctrl+Shift+Y (rather then N) for recently closed windows.
And Ctrl+Shift+T for recently closed tabs.
And Ctrl+Shift+N opens Composer (well, until the NoScript change
), though I would think that to hardly matter to anyone? (Ctrl+4 also opens Composer.)

Mozilla: Keyboard shortcuts
(Not very searchable. You have to do something like /ctrl<space>+<space>n/.)
