Possible NoScript JavaScript Parsing Bug

Post by ddigas »

Hello all,

I recently noticed that upon visiting the sites below a "gradman.js" domain would appear in the NoScript menu. to my knowledge there is no "js" top level domain suffix. Additionally NoScript cannot display site info via shift-click & if I manually request site info from MyWOT, SiteAdvisor etc no info can be retrieved...
Thus I assume this is a JavaScript reference that is not parsed properly due to some bug. I tried looking into the page source of some of the websites listed below but I cannot find any direct reference to "gradman.js". Can somebody please look into this ???

Example Sites:

http://www.e-go.gr/
http://www.ethnos.gr/
http://www.sentragoal.gr/
http://www.imerisia.gr/

Best regards,

Dimitris

Server bug maybe? NoScript does not really know which domains are invalid. I see "http://static.adman.gr/adman.js" being included, which seems suspiciously similar, but I don't see the "domain" you mentioned, but I also didn't allow JS for apparent ad networks.

When you say that you don't allow JS for apparent ad networks how do you do that? (With NoScript / With AdBlock Plus or via other means) ?

With NoScript.
Isn't that beautiful, by doing nothing, you are better off :-).

I too never saw a domain "gradman.js" (probably not even valid?).
Though like dhouwn, there is http://static.adman.gr/adman.js.
