I must not be the first one to ask this, but I'll do so anyway: When choosing to "temporarily permit all this page", PLEASE make it really do ALL on the PAGE, not just all that have been requested so far. Every damned time a halfway-complex web page loads and permissions are granted, the page'll try to go do more stuff and so *more* permissions are needed, and then again, and so on.
I'm really sick of having to click through your menu three or more times to do one operation: the temporary permitting of ALL permissions on a given page. What's so hard about making that work the first time?

No, not the first.
A search should turn up a decent thread on the issue.
Anyway, can't do, cause ALL doesn't exist at the time you TAA.
Not to mention that doing so could conceivably be very dangerous.
Yes some sites are just a PITA.

User clicks on "allow all this page".therube wrote:Anyway, can't do, cause ALL doesn't exist at the time you TAA.
Software saves contents of Firefox URL bar.
Page is reloaded.
Software checks: has URL bar changed? No? Then allow current "all" and repeat reload until no more entries get added to list.
Very, very difficult change to make; quite impossible. A condition and a loop. Of course, actual implementation would not be quite that simple. There are always details. It could even be far beyond current abilities... of someone who has never done any computer programming whatsoever. This may explain the absurd claim about "can't do".
Very true. But so is some software.therube wrote:Yes some sites are just a PITA.

You are not the first. You can search for our reply. And finally blame the website, not the security tool, its the way it is and that's that. If you care so little what the site is doing that you are just going to blindly allow everything on it, then just disable enable JS global and have at it, won't ask you a damn thing.
