Can I change the language of the UI?

Post by umo »

I use NoScript with perfect compatibility for FIrefox on Windows. It automatically installs the English version for my Firefox.
But when I was using Firefox on Ubuntu, it forces me to install the Simplified Chinese version of NoScript. I have already set the Firefox to en-US and my Desktop is setting to traditional Chinese, how come it become simplified Chinese? (Actually I want too get the English version)

Have you checked to make sure your localizations are set right in Ubuntu? Make sure you don't have some Asian language IME tool something running either. Other than that, it is going off of your Firefox localization, and that goes off your system. So something in the that area is the issue.

While you are at it, under about:config check this too: general.useragent.locale;en-US
