[Resolved] NoScript doesn't allow JS for some site

Post by Pinny »

Hi!

Since I updated NoScript today to version 2.4.1 I have serious problems. For some (random?) sites NoScript disables the menu entries that would allow JS on the site. Also the "blocked sites" menu entry is gone completely.

Here's two screenshots:
Image This forum - not working
Image Tor homepage - working

Also NoScript seems to blocke the sites with this error no matter what I do. Even when I manually add them to the whitelist.

Do you have HTTPS forced to Always?
NoScript | Options | Advanced | HTTPS

As a test, try a new, clean, Profile & see if things work there.

As a test (backup your NoScript settings first, if necessary) then try a Reset, to see if that makes your existing Profile work correctly.
Then change your settings back to your liking & see if things still work.

Bingo! :-)
I must have set it to "Always" by accident when I went through the options. And then this coincided with the update...

Thanks a lot!
