Using Firefox 12.0, Echofon 2.4.2, and NoScript 2.3.9.
NoScript updated automatically and I noticed that my Echofon sidebar is not working as expected -- the menu from the button is not available. It wasn't getting updates (which may not be NoScript's problem) and I can't force a refresh because the menu is not available. With Echofon installed, I have a blue circular icon to the right of my address bar and search bar. It has a drop-down combo for the menu and this menu usually has a "refresh timeline" option on it which I can use to force a refresh, as well as many other options. Instead, it only shows "Echofon" and a blank line under if the sidebar portion is closed, and if the sidebar portion is open, the drop-down combo doesn't work at all.
Troubleshooting:
- If I disable NoScript, the button works as expected again, consistently.
- I also briefly had it work even with NoScript enabled when a link opened a new browser window (as opposed to new tab), but I could not replicate that situation on further attempts.
- I went to the actual Echofon site and allowed it fully to see if that was the issue, but it did not help.

Re: Bug report: Echofon Addon Incompatibility
Sorry, I couldn't authorize Echofon through OAuth, even on a fresh Firefox 12 profile (with no extensions or custom preference).
It seems Echofon has some major issues of its own with Firefox 12...

Re: Bug report: Echofon Addon Incompatibility
Yes, I'm beginning to think the problem lies with Echofon and not with NoScript -- that it's perhaps some sort of caching problem that disabling and re-enabling NoScript seemed to fix, but was really being fixed just be frequent reloads of the browser. It was initially consistent, but it is not consistent now and I can't replicate in my second environment (which wasn't available yesterday). Disregard the report and blame it on Echofon for now. Thanks for your attention to this.
