Script access to various sites

Post by DrMystica »

how is it possible to grant the access e.g. from api.google.com to xx.com, yy.com and deny it to zz.com.
i tried to deny api.google.com to zz.com and grant it to xx.com. but at a single blow, the access on zz.com was also granted... :( thats not the result, i wanted to reach. api.google.com is just an example.

i looked up abe, but its kinda to static, so i couldnt control each site in this interface.
any ideas?

ATM ABE is your best bet.

Please notice, though, that even if you enable api.google.com everywhere, if zz.com is not allowed as well the former won't run anyway.

Please see this part of Site-Specific-Permission Questions? PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!, and the posts that follow, for an example of a user who wanted to allow many scripts at a large number of his favorite sites. There is a reproducible, step-by-step process shown there, and what the final rule looks like.

This may help you to achieve your goal in one rule that can be edited (add, delete, etc.) easily at any time.

I hope it helps.
