Captcha vs. Recaptcha

Post by morganism »

wahoo !

can at least post here now that the recaptcha site is whitelisted.

still having problems with some of my forums, and comments sections having the "captcha" or generic versions being blocked.
is there a site that shows forum plugin versions of these that we could add as a referrer site or whitelist site for these?

i am aware it would constitute a serious attack vector, but i cant even re-register at a few of my favorites because i get a "you have entered an incorrect version of the quote" type message. Lot's of times, i can't even see a frame to let me know i can't see em !

problem at Permies.com, zerohedge, u;nmannedspaceflight, and some others.

Yes, I tried to reproduce, but none of those sites seems to allow guest posting. So, the captchas are only when one tries to register?

Are you saying that you now see the captchas, and that this issue is not really an issue?

If it is still a problem, perhaps I can find a bugmenot login for one or more of those.

Please let us know, thanks.
