Can't download/open pdf files
Can't download/open pdf files
I am unable to download or open pdf files - I have tried everything including allowing scripts globally, but nothing works. A window opens but remains blank and then disappears. I can open them in IE, without NoScript.

Try disabling the plugins that want to open a PDF for you inside the browser.

Could you please provide some URLs where this occurs, so that we can try to reproduce the scenario?lry wrote:I am unable to download or open pdf files - I have tried everything including allowing scripts globally, but nothing works. What are you using for your default .pdf reader? I don't have any plug-ins; Firefox detects the native install of Foxit and uses it to open pdf's without any plug-in.
In any case, merely downloading a pdf to save on your desktop (or wherever) is no different from downloading any other file. Can you download all other files from the Web without problem?
You could also see if this happens after creating a clean profile from scratch and installing *only* NoScript. This may detect extension conflicts or profile corruption.
