IDM running on crossover mac 11.0.2; integrate with Firefox

I have internet download manager 6.10 build 2 (Mar 16, 2012) running on mac os x 10.6.8 inside of a wine bottle using a program called crossover 11.0.2. The crossover program runs fine with IDM. What I am attempting to do now is to use flashgot 1.4.1 to integrate/pass "flashgot selected / flashgot all" commands from the right-click context menu firefox (mac)

I tried the following:

1. Type "about:config" in the address bar(without quotes).
2. Find the preference name "flashgot.useWine" and set it to true
3. Find the preference name "flashgot.wine.paths" and add to the field the path of wine
e.g. for Crossover Mac ":/Applications/CrossOver.app/Contents/SharedSupport/CrossOver/bin/wine"
4. Restart Firefox (I think you have to, not sure)
5. Go into Flashgot options and detect download managers again - which should allow IDM to show up.

.....no success. IDM did not show up in flashgot options (I couldn't select it) and I restarted the browser and crossover (IDM). I had to manually add a new IDM. I noticed that in flashgot options there is a special box on the 'General' tab for 'Command line arguments template'. I left it at what was the default, which is only '[URL]' without the quotes. I also tried leaving the field blank. No luck. I don't know if there is something special that I'm forgetting to do.

Luckily IDM has its own "grabber" and url input forms to assist in handling multiple files (within the program, separate from context menus or api), but can be a bit more cumbersome. I want the browser to be able to pass links on a webpage to IDM in crossover. Similar to iGetter (mac), but I actually switched to using IDM within crossover because iGetter I'm having problems with download speed and with the site manager remembering the login details.

Any help would be appreciated.
