Hard to imagine ... a little more than three years ago, all of NoScript support was done in *one* single thread @ Mozillazine Forums -- see the link in the Board Index, "Older NoScript Discussion at Mozillazine".

... with a new thread for each new release of NS. Dozens of issues and many posters, with the last topic/thread running 41 pages and 614 posts. Imagine the navigation horrors....

Whereupon, somewhere around 19-20 March, 2009, at his own expense, server, bandwidth, etc., Giorgio Maone opened up this forum exclusively for NoScript, Flashgot, and related (and miscellaneous) topics. In a little more than three years, 33,000 posts on more than 5,000 topics. Imagine if all of that were still *one thread*.

Of course, that in itself discouraged many from posting, responding, or participating in general.

ROFL -- but it's true.

And I know what therube means -- it *does* seem like always, but probably because the older one was confusing and difficult to follow, so memories of it don't stick.
