Hello!
I encountered a bug when searching with yandex.ru or yandex.com (top russian search engine) with noscript (site not whitelisted):
When you enter a search query on front page, search button works,
but if i already searched, i.e. http://yandex.ru/yandsearch?text=noscript&msp=1&lr=213, then edited a query in search bar, search button doesnt work.
With noscript disabled & javascript turned off in firefox prefences everything goes fine.
Anything could be done to resolve this issue?
Thanks.

Works in Safe Mode & in Safe Mode with JavaScript disabled (in the browser itself), so looks like something is up, just not sure what?

It's the Attempt to fix JavaScript links setting.
(You cannot even click the 'in results' / 'in Moscow' checkboxes.)

Good, thanks. That issue was just addressed in this thread.therube wrote:It's the Attempt to fix JavaScript links setting.

Should provide a work-around for OP.
@ Guest4642: Try unchecking the setting described there. Does that fix this for you?

Any chance "Attempt to fix JavaScript links" algorithm would be improved, so i don't have to turn it off?

Any chance that you could ask the site to go back to plain old HTML links, which worked just fine for many years?Guest4642 wrote:Yeah, that helped, thanks.Tom T. wrote:Try unchecking the setting described there. Does that fix this for you?

(Who invented the JS link in the first place, and *why*?)

Would changing the setting described in FAQ 3.17 help?
