[UNRELATED] Cant' get past the age verification

Post by John Pancake »

I've tried a few thing but I can't figure it out.
I am stuck at this page : http://adski-kafeteri.livejournal.com/2649166.html
Well, I can't see it. The age verification page keeps reloading.

Livejournal is in the white list.
But I suspect "http://l-stat.livejournal.com" to be the URL blocked by NoScript.

Firefox 10.0.2
No Script 2.3.2
Windows 7

Yes, but at first try with Fx 3.6.27, all I had to do was allow cookies. I'm sure all age-verification sites will require a cookie recording that you asserted your age to be appropriate. Will try with Fx 10, but please check that issue in the meantime.

Thanks for your answer Tom !

And you're right. It was just a cookie related problem !
Well, I feel dumb.

Thanks again.

And keep up the good work.

Confirmed on Fx 10.0.02. Denying cookies keeps you stuck at the verification page; allowing, even for session only (and allowing one "modify existing cookie") got me right through.

Also, if you use the RequestPolicy add-on, I had to temp-allow requests from there to tinypic.com. http//l-stat.livejournal.com was *not* required.

btw, latest stable release of NS is now 2.3.4. Please be sure to update. :)

ETA: Oops, looks like we cross-posted.

And thanks for the kind words. Great way to end this session. :D
